We offer football for players in Grades 5 and 6 (Junior Varsity) and Grades 7 and 8 (Varsity). This football program is run within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia by the Ches-Mont Catholic CYO organization, with registration/host parish provided by St. Teresa of Calcutta. Participants from local parishes are welcome, including

  • St. Eleanor
  • St. Joseph
  • St. Mary (Schwenksville)
  • St. Mary of the Assumption
  • St. Teresa of Calcutta
  • Sacred Heart

 

Our season will begin on Aug 11th which will begin our heat acclimation sessions, with equipment handouts occurring in the weeks prior. We will practice weekday evenings through August, targeting several scrimmages on weekends. 

 

Our season in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia CYO League will kick off with games the weekend after Labor Day, with opponents such as Visitation BVM, St. Thomas the Apostle, St. Simon & Jude, St. Agnes/St. Maximillian Kolbe, and others (exact schedule and opponents TBD). The season will run through September and October, with playoffs/parity games in late October/early November.

 

All practices and home games will be held at Pope John Paul II High School, with in-season practices occurring 3 days per week (typically Tue-Thu).
